For the price and a known brand this is a quality trolley jack. Bought and used straight away, after following the instructions for bleeding the hydraulics. Used for jacking our nearly 3 Ton Range Rover Sport to fix a dodgy brake calliper and done it effortlessly, though for a 4x4 with air suspension it wasn’t quite tall enough for the wheels to clear the ground, no fault of the jack at all, hard wood blocks safely solved that issue. One tiny criticism is the need for a handle as it is heavy, but I can knock one up. If your after a decent trolley jack that’s sturdy for heavy vehicles like vans, large cars, 4x4’s, pick ups, etc, then you won’t go far wrong with this, just bear the max height in mind.

The handle doesn't return to the upright position the method of releasing the jack is primitive and requires the user to remove the handle and turn a screw rather like a simple hydraulic bottle jack. Not expensive but not a proper garage jack ok for DIY..

I bought this jack to replace a smaller 2 ton jack which seemed to struggle when lifting my VW van. Despite only rated as 1 ton heavier this jack lifts the van effortlessly and feels it could manage more easily. It feels like it’s high quality and lifts evenly right to its height limit which inspires confidence.

I needed a beefier jack for our motorhome as my current 2 ton one was a bit small. This is a well built unit and easily up to the task of lifting the bigger vehicle. Would recommend purchasing axle stands for safety if working under the vehicle.
